Meget interessant oplevelse. Havde mine to drenge med på 9 og 6 år, og de syntes det var fantastisk. Super gode frivillige der viser rundt og fortæller gode historier.

One of the best museums I never visited.

Cannon tour of Peder Skram and the Seal.
Excellent ship museum. Ships are well maintained. On the frigate you really can access most areas including machinery. You can buy tickets on web site or in a small office located on site. Additional bonus is that they are located in active navy base so you get to see some other boats in active service
I’m so grateful that I was able to visit these ships during my time in Copenhagen. The people on site are excellent and are happy to answer questions. The man in the ticket booth recommended I take the guided tour of the mast crane, and I’m glad I did. I was able to spend time chatting with Karsten who worked on the Peder Skram while he was serving. The view from the top of the mast crane is fantastic, I recommend everybody climb up there if you are able.
To get there, I recommend taking the Harbour Buses. There is a washroom on site in the same little white building where you buy tickets. A ticket gets you access to two ships, a submarine, and the mast crane if it’s open.

An excellent museum, the ships are very well preserved and maintained and provide such unique insights into the Danish maritime history and every day life on board. All the museum staff are so knowledgable and helpful. I cannot recommend it enough.
